I’ve not been on here in a while so I have decided to write about my life.

Being Married….

So Chad and I have been married for 2 months now and things have been great. I am so blessed to have found someone who completely understands what I am going through and what I worry about and everything else. We can talk to each other about anything.

So the first month had some new things to it like me getting a job and moving in and organizing our apartment. BTW, I thought that working at Taco Bell (not ideal, but something quick) would be way worse than it really is. We got all of my school stuff settled which was very stressful for me because I did not know how to plan my weekly life. So PRAISE God for that, God is so good and forgiving. I didn’t really know anyone and with school starting I knew that I would make friends soon. Chad started his school year job back at Crossroads after turning down a full time position. We were worried that he would be burnt out and we would never get us time. Also, after packing all summer to prepare for the move.. I am tired of going through boxes. So we still have some boxes around but most of them are of just books and office supplies (that we don’t know what to do with). Also getting use to the laundry situation and cleaning things has been pretty good so far.

Month 2- So we are in classes, have homework, and have to work a certain number of hours a week. On the days I have class he doesn’t but he has to work and on the days he has class, I have REALLY early morning classes (like 7:30) and he has class all day since he only has classes 2 days a week. Everyday we wake up early. Even on the weekends because every Saturday Chad has to work at 6am (which is not fun) So we really never get a day to sleep in and I have to work nights on Fri, Sat, Sun (so I never get a day off) while Chad gets Sunday off. I have tried some new recipes which have been great and Chad has liked them and I have liked them so that’s been good. WE LOVE ICE CREAM! So we definitely have been having some cold treats when we need something sweet. Football has started and even though Chad and I have not gone to a game yet, we watch them on TV when I get home from work (11:30 pm or so). I found out he hates the smell of nail polish… which is interesting and we really bond over watching reality TV which typically includes  Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, Storage Wars, and everything else we watch. I have also got my permit and Chad is teaching me to drive, which I hope isn’t frustrating for him because I do not like to go fast in the drivers seat. Side note: DRIVING IS STRESSFUL. Therefore when I am old and frail I will def. need a driver. But even though Chad has to put up with my crazy self and I deal with all his goofiness we still love and appreciate each other very much and everyday is a learning experience with each other.

Being married has been great! Chad is such a blessing and everything is working out even though I don’t have a day off. However, we need to find a church soon. So that will be our next adventure along with going to Breakaway next weekend. I am excited to bond with the girls of Chi Alpha!

As I am in my final days of being a single woman, I am learning a lot and stressing a decent amount. I know that towards the end of the week is when the flowers, cake, and many small things come into play in preparing for my wedding this weekend but I am happy. I am looking forward to Thursday when I get to really hang out with my girls for one of the last times as Amanda Bond. I am also looking forward to seeing the whole wedding party together Friday night for the rehearsal dinner. Things are just coming together so well and all I have to do is thank God and give him all the glory for that. My family is expanding and spending time with them is very relaxing. I love that about them, they really help me not stress the small things. Tomorrow night is the bachelorette party :)
